Apocalyptica is a band from Helsinki,

Finland, formed in 1993.

The band is composed of classically

trained cellists Eicca Toppinen,

Paavo Lötjönen, and Perttu Kivilaakso.

Originally a Metallica tribute band,

their music borrows elements

from a wide variety of genres

including classical music,

neo-classical metal,speed metal,

alternative metal, post-grunge,

hard rock, progressive metal,

thrash metal and symphonic metal.

They also incorporate some influences

from Middle Eastern music,

world music and traditional folk melodies.

Apocalyptica covering "Fade To Black" by Metallica, is really beautifully done. I love it.I love the video, too. I liked how it started with the gentleman laying against the manatee. At first, I thought it was a rock until it moved. Haa. :) The underwater footage of the gentleman and lady compliments the music perfectly. They make their own underwater symphony of movement and grace, even the bubbles from the videographer added to it. I wish it was a little choreographed, at 2:38 I liked the angle of the shot but I would have loved it if the gentleman formed a circle, curling in as the lady had done, symbolizing a yin and yang in their movements. It made me want to be the videographer for it, so I could capture certain and various angles, especially the light hitting on their bodies in their different movements. There were a few other things that I would love to see done by these artists but I'll stop rambling. I'm glad that this video hasn't been censored and taken down due to the lady's topless perfection. I say perfection, because she is perfect as she is; beautiful.
