"Exogenesis : Symphony" is a song by English alternative rock

band Muse, featured on their 2009 album The Resistance.

Written by lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist Matthew BELLAMY

(born 9 June 1978) over the course of a number of years, the

song is presented as a symphony in three movements entitled

"Overture", "Cross-Pollination" and "Redemption" respectively.

The entire music in this video was produced by me.

I performed live the piano on 14-05-2012 and strings on

16-05-2012 on Roland FP-7F digital piano.

I programmed the bass and drum on Yamaha SY77 synthesizer.

Sound recording and mixing was made using

Roland Quad-Capture.

Video editing was made using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD.

The pictures in this video come from the 2009 Summit Entertainment

film The Twilight Saga, chapter 2 : New Moon.

I thank YouTube user SkyAstrid for allowing me to make my

video public. I received his written approval on 24-05-2012.

In order to synchronize my music with the video, I had to remove

a 15-second long musical extract from the original song during my

performance. More precisely I deleted the measures 33-34-35-36

(during which it is sung "Just let us start it, over again"),

i.e. at the end of measure 32 I went directly to the beginning of

measure 37. This music cut was made by SkyAstrid in his video

"NM ~ Redemption", which is a masterpiece of synchronization

between images and music.
