when i was in afghanistan '12 as a combat medic i would put in an earbud and throw this on every time we stepped outside the wire. my guys were jamming out to all sorts of death metal shit. I had to get pumped, but also maintain my composure. motheaten memories reminded me of the four year relationship i threw away, the men that became my second family, and the impermanence of all things. it always put my mind in the right place to do my job.war is wrong, saving lives is good.
