Another great track by Exile. "I Can't Get Close Enough" was their last #1 song, and it reached the top of the Billboard Country chart in 1987 (Epic 07597).

There's a lovely tune from this album called "My Heart's In Good Hands". It would be really nice to have it uploaded here too!

I never listened Exile until recently and now I wish I had heard them before. I mean I heard the song "I want to kiss you all over" but never thought much about it.

Where has the time gone? 1987 seems just like yesterday that Exile was on top of the charts with I Can't Get Close Enough.

@StoogeWatcher I actually prefer this over Kiss You All Over.

The song is from Shelter from the Night produced by a famous rock producer Elliot Schneider who worked with the Eagles and Bruce Hornsby. That's why it sounds like pop rock.

Besides a select few, do they even make music like this anymore? If you find a band like this, and they need a drummer, please let me know.

I like this song too. I wish someone would post some more of their original videos and live performances. Great underrated group.

Not bad for a bunch of good old Madison County Kentucky boys. They sure have come a long way since practicing in that old garage in Kingston!
