I don't know how could you dislike FST. This very song is their best for me. Sounds kinda anthemic because of the chorus, so fucking powerful.

Oh man, Videodrome was quite the bad mindtrip. Yeah, Evile gets inspiration from loads of stuff. Same way that FST refers to a novel I believe Matt loved. They're also pretty big on video games but I have yet to know of a song they made about one. Yeah, I can imagine, Thrasher is for example one of those songs about hailing old Thrash, which are almost always awful but Evile pulls it off alright.

Yeah i never saw the movie but i know that "Long Live The New Flesh" is a quote from Videodrome. It seems like Evile like writing lyrics about movies. The first album had a bunch of songs about Jaws and Predator and stuff like that if im not mistaken. Wasnt a huge fan Enter The Grave to be honest but i should give it another listen one of these days.

Oh wow. I read your comment and thought "People really can't be thinking this" and scrolling down I was proven wrong. These guys love making the music they make. Enter The Grave was a good album but still a bit too generic. Can't really comment on the second one, but to me, FST is a perfect blend of good instrumentals, an interesting melodic vocal style and lyrics that actually stand for something. How many of you would be able to tell me this song is about the movie Videodrome?

Maybe I was quick to judge. But having backed away from evile for a long time I'm not as much of a fan and can see that they aren't as bad as I once judged. They definitely aren't the best thrash band (for me) - But at the time I thought they were better then I think they are now and was upset in their change in direction. In the future I should be more careful on how I view a band and how much my opinion matters in general.

Yeah, i bet you motherfuckers you rather have another band with a completely retarded album cover writing more lyrics about how great thrash is, getting wasted and thrashing, all backed up by some gloriously generic, run of the mill thrash riffs. grow the fuck up. this album is fantastic, probably their best.
