2:02 Starts with the piece that would be used on the album version of "Jennifer".

The B-side to "Sweet Dream" by Eurythmics (1983). This rather hard to come by version of the song "I Could Give You - A Mirror" is probably one of my favourite records from the 80's. It's a perfect balance of the icy cold synthetics, and the passionately fiery vocals, that found popularity in the first half of that decade.

Is the picture of the French Sweet Dreams single, because it looks like mine. Thanks for uploading btw, great remix!! I love the 01:26 part when the song finds a new part from the original.

Yes, Eurythmics remasters should have been treated with more chronological respect from what they officially offer. "Sweet Dreams"-era Eurythmics were truly enthusiastic about finding their own synth-pop sound, thus many of their exceptionally experimental recordings that came about at that time remain imprisoned on second hand copies of their early 7"/12" singles. This one, along with "Baby's Gone Blue" (another obscurity) was previously released on the back of "Sweet Dreams", the single.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have always loved Eurythmics, and it's a thrill to be able to listen to a different version of a song I've loved since I first heard it. I will never tire of listening to Annie's beautiful voice. Thanks again!

Interesting take on this track - I love love the album version - this sounds much more like a demo, but still really interesting mixture of different 'annie' voices.. great to hear this, thanks for the upload.

One of the first Eurythmics tracks I ever heard, and still one of my favorites. Agree that it seems an arbitrary and unfortunate omission from the remastered CDs.
