Too slow. Clapton had a vicious guitar player in Knopfler and basically wasted him. Also Jack Bruce sang the ENTIRE song when they were in Cream. Nathan East did not cover Eric's original lines since there were none.

I just don't understand why they say San Francisco when this place is located in Mountain View and is about 20 minutes north of San Jose. San Fran is almost an HOUR north of Mountain View. Even the Doobie bros said San Francisco during their show at this place...and THEY"RE FROM SAN JOSE! ?????

I don't agree with you. playing rhythm is as important as playing lead. And besides - he played a lots of great licks at the choruses. "White Room" is Clapton's song. It's just like that "Brothers In Arms" is Knopler's song, and there Clapton is the one who plays rhythm. (In the live show in San Francisco, 88', for example..)
