Drum cover of Enter Sandman a song from the band Metallica.

It was released as the first single from their fifth album, "Metallica" in 1991. The music was written by Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Hetfield wrote the lyrics, which deal with the concept of a child's nightmares.

The single achieved platinum certification for more than 1,000,000 copies shipped in the United States, spurring sales of over 30 million copies for Metallica and propelling Metallica to worldwide popularity. Acclaimed by critics, the song is featured in all of Metallica's live albums and DVDs released after 1991 and has been played live at award ceremonies and benefit concerts.

It is among Metallica's most-played songs.

I used a drumless song track so all drums are mine and therefore this is more of an expression and interpretation of my own. Most of the drumming is close to what Lars did but there are fills and little nuances that represent 51 years of drumming in a variety of genres. That's one of the purposes of using a drumless song track is to be able to play it my way without too much regard for the original drum track

I used a drum chart found online.

Triggered an ADpak-Metal kit from Addictive Drums with a Pearl snare.

I'm covering this song (with my little twist) and I mostly play by ear but having this helped with the parts I couldn't quit get. I plan to upload it tomorrow. Thanks!

Awesome video! ...But, am I the only one who feels as though these sound exactly like the drums used on Death Magnetic? It's kind of all in the snare honestly but I just hear that album for some reason while watching this.
