I love how these ensiferum songs start out. Especially the changes in music that dont last forever.

Listen to the Chorus of this song and compare it to Buena Vista Socialclub - Chan Chan! <3

Love this song. The "the sun burns his cheeks" part really is great.

All right... So you're saying that the vikings deserved what they god, right? And what if I told you that this is exactly what the Christian Monks wanted that the Christians though? Most of this "rape and kill and rage, BRWAAAAAAAAGH" is just completely unilateral record of the facts, knowing that almost all the source we have about that age came from Monks and Bishops and it was of their ECONOMIC (yes, economic) to "demonize" the Norse Invaders.

Okay, it was wrong of Christians to take the lands and kill the culture...but you DO know that vikings literally did that shit for a living right? Pillage, rape destroy. It's what they did. So I'm not saying it was right of Christianity, but i will say the vikings had it coming.

Well, I feel pretty lame now, that I didnt know that. :D Listened to that too. I find it that the chorus in this one has more feel into it, and all in all it is more clotted. However, the Amorphis one clearly has a more unique mood that defines it.

Yeah, and all that you can say. But this is a cover song from Amorphis album "Tales from the Thousand Lakes"

This song is great. It's got that sweet intro, that already awaken some curiosity for the song, some beautiful riffs ( such as 2:25 ) , a beautiful chorus. It's got a great structure, enough complexity, although its simplicity is the one that gives it its unique charm. And it is all bound together in what is an amazing song. I find it one of their best. Thanks Ensiferum for the music you make.
