Would this amp be any good for 80's metal? I tried the Engl Retro 100, and that answer was a huge no, and had to sell it. I wish I did not listen to the dealer. The Retro 100 is too warm for 80's metal. I love the room they demo these amps in, I wish I had it at home!

@givemeajackson One of those shitty little fender amps. I'm pretty experienced with better amps from use in shops, but I still only have that crappy little thing at home. I do use impulses and the LeGion for actual recordings.

@givemeajackson Yeah, my mids are on 5, but I often boost them with a crappy boss equalizer pedal. For some reason using that setup actually gets a decent sound, which is surprising considering how crap my amp is.
