I saw this band two weeks ago at a Meat Puppets show (yes, my 2nd of the year) down here in Virginia. The band is from Minneapolis and I really enjoyed their live set. A lot of energy and really intense percussion. Most of the band multi-tasked, changing instruments, joining in on the drum set, etc... My friend and I liked them so much that we both bought their pre-release cd. However, we found out the next day they were both blank discs! I emailed the band and they responded immediately with an apology and said they would get two more cd's in the mail to us. They also attached a dropbox link to the album since it's not available yet #subundare

i just saw enemy planes in mankato last night, never hearing of them before... and was gobsmacked. i 'almost' liked them better than meat puppets, who enemy planes opened for. note, i said 'almost.' ;^) TRULY a beautifully haunting song and sound.
