Umm...Tamer pledged AXP...along with Al Suprise (check out Easter Jesus...it's friggin amazing) and another guy from Robinson named Scott Williams who transferred to VT and joined SPE frat. If you want to try to gloat about inside connections, at least get your facts straight. Also, they got screwed by the label...but the DITCHED the label and then nobody wanted to take a chance on them. Honestly, at this point, I think all of these guys are just really happy to be doing what they love.

@flyover99 ... and that was what the promotions woman who worked for WHFS 99.1, who worked with the label promoters to determine airplay lineups told me and my business partner (who is a Kappa Sigma brother of Tamer's) in 1998. Even the promoter for Cellar Door said the same thing. They got screwed by the label. They were signed, and then shoved to the corner so they could promote another band.

@flyover99 They were signed by Epic Records in 1993. The label republished their second album, and then sat on them because there was another band they wanted to promote that sounds a lot like Emmet Swimming. A friend of mine is a fraternity brother of Tamer's, and I was at the party his fraternity hired emmet swimming to play at, in 92, and the drummer didn't show, and Tamer volunteered to play drums, and the rest is history. But the label screwed them. They failed to promote them.
