The true HD version of Ember McLain's "Remember" song. This version was supposedly available since 2010. Snippets of this song were played in Danny Phantom's "Fanning the Flames" episode, which aired in 2004. Since the day it aired, all that was released was a stripped down mix from both Nickelodeon and Butch Hartman. The track was horribly degraded. Vocals and instruments had little to no reverb and was as if the music was playing in a glass box. Fans have desperately awaited the true version of this song for almost ten years. Still to this day, little is known about the production of this song. It saddens me that this was locked away from the public for this long. The quality even surpasses the episode version. Subtle things are present that were missing in the "Butch-ered" mix. Everything is so crystal clear. Overall, well worth the wait. Just wish we found the track sooner. "Remember Facts" (from Robbyn Kirmssé) - I cut the song with Guy at his home studio, just the two of us. I have performed a song with Butch present at the recording session, but not "Remember". He's a really nice guy (he writes 85% of the lyrics)! I only did the lead and backing vocals...Guy creates the tracks...He's a genius. Cartoon music requires sophisticated and exceptional talent...and Guy is the man! I don't know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The "Remember" song reminded me of a 50's/ 80's/ Go-Go's song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it! I have informed Butch and Guy of the enthusiasm around it and hope that they will release it formally... Even at age six I was a fan of Ember, so much that I would draw her on the sides of my coloring book pages. Of course, they looked like shit, but, Butch Hartman needs to bring this show back, I don't care what Nickelodeon says about the show being over and done. Now, let me dig through my attic and maybe I'll find those coloring books lol.

If you asked me, Ember burnt her house. I mean, really? A random fire after Ember got rejected by the boy she loved? And then she (or ghost-she) sings about ashes and embers, the only things that remained. And she says that somebody will remember her name, so I belive she herself burnt down the house and maybe not only her house but also the house of her beloved one. I wonder wether her real name, her human-name, was also Ember. I bet it wasn't, maybe it was Amber or something like this. It just would fit in, I think. A girl, rejected by a boy she loves very much, burns down her own house and "one thing remains", just Embers are left of the poor girl.I don't overthink this, do I?If I'd have some creativity, I could build a big story out of this... sadly, I don't really have. But we will see...

Even if I am more of Anime fan, I still liked Danny Phantom. It was that kind of cartoon that I got attached and was so hard for me to let it go. When I watch the last episode of Danny Phantom, it felt rush. The ending was rushed. I was like 'Come on that was the last episode?'. Some of maybe are gonna hate me for this but I was kinda annoyed lot of ghosts. Now, now don't flame! I didn't knew their backstory. When I actually read their past life - before they died, it was actually really sad. But, for me Ember one was the saddest. So, that's why when I hear this "Remember" song, it gives chills to me. When I hear say "Remember my name!" I just feel something. SO PLEASE TELL ME IF THERE IS ANY NEWS OF DANNY PHANTOM RETURNING :DBy the way, in Ember song there is so much meaning of her past life.

Oh my gosh, thank you for this. I never thought I'd get to hear such a clear version of this song. I had been lead to believe that all versions except the tin-can one were lost.I do have a question about the lyrics. The clearer version seems to sound like:"Your heart, your heart has renderedyour *loss*, now bear the shame.Which seems to make more sense than "your walls" as I've heard of bearing the shame of your loss, but not bearing the shame of your walls. It would also make sense in the context of the song as it's a song empowering Ember, and the one who abandoned here would feel the shame of leaving her now that she's got so powerful.Anyway, just my take on the lyrics now that I've heard the much better quality version.

Well, the lyrics claim;"To you, I did surrender. Two weeks, you didn't call"It's even more heartbreaking really. He forgot all about her and her desire to be loved and remembered was so strong that she couldn't rest in peace until she got it from others.

The reason this track was never released is because Nickelodeon owns the track and the rights to it. I did learn that Butch Hartman is also trying to bring Danny Phantom back. Robbyn Kirmssé has been giving me some inside info on this stuff. :D
