@faeriebility We are fellow admirers of Elvis, which is good thing; but, you cannot speak to what I know of or about Elvis or any of the females I mentioned in my original comment. You and I need not have ill will because you have an opinion. I simply wrote reasonable conclusions from analyzation, facts. I do appreciate your response, though I did not mention real world love life of Elvis, merely comparisons to a couple on-screen gals.

@trei3000 personally, I'm sick of this speculating on which woman would have been best for him: his first gf, Shelley Fabares, Ann Margaret, Priscilla, any of the women who threw themselves at him... it's pointless because as ardent fans as we are, we don't know those people or Elvis (though I do have a bias against Priscilla for all the pot calling kettle black that was going on there). Honestly, how much do we know of each relationship E had w/ his costars? Not all that much.

THE GIRL I NEVER LOVED is sweet though sad song. Who else could sing it like Elvis? Nobody. Shelly Fabres in CLAMBAKE has similar look of Priscilla, and may I add ..... Shelly Fabres is better suited as movie "partner" for Elvis than Ann-Margret. Haters, find another sandbox and play. True Elvis admirers can SEE what I mean, one is sincere and the other a bit full of herself. Excellent effect with live clip inset into movie promo photo or album photo.
