Celine Dion appeared to walk out and stand next to Elvis as the two sang a duet of the classic "If I can Dream." It was like he was raised from the dead. Everyone has been asking how it was done... it was a hologram. Totally amazing what they can do now.
The estimated cost of this was said to have cost between $50,000 to $100,000 and it is said it took months and months to create. Prior to the performance, Celine practiced with an Elvis impersonator. However it was done, it was totally amazing to me. She sounded great singing with Elvis. The duet was fantastic.

Actually from my research and understanding as is the same with tupac the audience really does see him. It looks completely real in person and in tv. Exciting potential. And to comment on your statement Stuart the description is perfectly accurate being that it says "appeared" in the sentence. Of course holograms don't do any of that. The idea is to give people the sense and feeling that the person is actually there. And a real Elvis would in fact cast a shadow and walk back stage. So in an effort to make things look and feel as legit and real life as possible they added all those things. *shakes my head* Are you you tube people for real? I walk around everyday thinking the world is ok enough and people have potential and a future then I see these youtube comments and I lose all faith in humanity.8 years ago

That description is utter crap, holograms don't cast live shadows from lighting and they don't walk from back stage. They also don't hold the same modern microphone as a live person.9 years ago
