On this day in 1959 {September 13th} while stationed in Germany with the U.S.Army Elvis met Priscilla Beaulieu for the first time at a party in his apartment {introduced by friend Currie Grant}... Back in the U.S.A. his record "A Big Hunk O' Love" was on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart, it had entered the Top 100 on July 6th and peaked at #1 {for 2 weeks} on August 10th...
