Some people think this song is not good.Furthermore, some dare to say the whole album where this song came, was rubbish.In fact this is the less sold- famous album by this author.In my humble opinion, "leather jackets" is the result of the most honest approach to Elton John to both his poetic and musical expression.Sure these terms would cause sudden hives attack to anyone pertaining to the pop world, so willingly in "use and discard" easy listening rhythms and sticky lyrics ... no poetry nor originality might be attached to the memory of those willing to fix their attention on the bizarre or dramatic art expressions.

I had forgotten how good this album is. I have been listening to it for a few days and remembered ho much I like this song. He just seems like he puts so much feeling in this song and it is just wonderful! What a voice he has! It is just terrific!! Love you Elton! Always have and always will!! What a beautiful song!

lol I really liked this album, not his best but very listenable.. The only album I can say I disliked was Peachtree Road. Eh, to each his own I guess...
