From Elton John's 1971 album "Madman Across the Water." The lyrics in the demo of this song referred to the Holiday Inn as a "motel prison" and a second verse complained of cold french fries and a broken TV. The album version was obliviously "cleaned up" so as not to offend the American hotel chain. Interestingly, Elton used to perform the omitted verse in his 1971 and 72 live concerts!
