Just heard this version on my iPod the other day and recalled the awesome video, so here I am...and still incredulous as to why this did not get picked Best Song (instead going to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?"). Both are great, but "Circle of Life" seemed to fit throughout the movie's theme so much better!And yes, Elton John is one awesome musical genius! LOVE him; gorgeous song this is!8 years ago

I was ased wich of these show would you watchI answered honestly. last ship,ex milatare and ocifer to boot. Might not agree on vevery thing but close . I'm 21 now and it's always been my favorite film since the first time I ever saw it when I was a baby. It beats all disneys and is just so wonderful. My baby boy is due soon and I can't wait to watch it with him and play him the soundtrack.
