This is a recording of ELO's record Out of the Blue from my personal record collection. Enjoy the superb sound quality that can only be given through the medium that is vinyl!

Thank you so much for putting these songs on YouTube. I now listen to this playlist every day :) I have always been a fan of 70s rock, and ELO is one of the best of that era.

This is one of the few albums in the world where at least half the songs can give me goosebumps, especially on vinyl recording. Fuckin' ELO, man. This album is a masterpiece.

What turntable, receiver, and cartridge/stylus are you using?

The VOX (the computerized voice) at the beginning says "concerto for a rainy day", and the VOX at the end of "Mr Blue Sky" says "Please turn me over" as it was the end of side 3 of the record. I've been listening to this album for over 30 years and I had to go to Wikipedia to find that out.

Wow!!!! Is this song good or what? You can hear every drop of rain at the beginning and it just gets better as it progresses.1 min 46 sec is eargasmic for sure.

always makes me wonder what memories the music of today will evoke in us.. then I listen to classics like this, and understand those memories will never be as meaningful as the ones evoked by the wonderful music of yesterday, and esp.of ELO..

I followed Jeff Lynne, Roy wood and Bev Bevan's careers through My Teen years ! THE MOVE were a great band BUT when THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA first played on English t.v .Granada Reports I knew Magic was being spun before my eyes. They were the most innovative band since The Beatles . I have every vinyl they recorded. I saw them at Leeds Prince Charles Trust PURE MAGIC! Mr Lynne you are a genius, Rock on x
