@eschelar ... I think the only thing that is malfunctioning here are your ears. The song is perfect, is non conservative, totally contemporary, original and I am very sure that when they made it, they did it thinking outside the box you are living in. Even though you tried to sound technical in your comment... It really was not, it seemed like you tried too hard to not sound redundant when criticizing a song you do not understad. It seems that really dislike the song and went to the trouble of going online, doing a search in youtube and taking your time writing a comment that will not have any effect on anyone that likes this. It seems to me that you have too much time in your hands and just need to get over the fact that music is like speech, is free, and it will keep on changing. There is something for every single type of taste, just because you don't like it means that lacks of talent. I do not like a ton of music, that does not mean is bad music, is for a different taste. Get over it.

Not one of her better efforts to be entirely honest. The oldies singer sounded smooth and buttery and she sounded modern and punchy. It really sounded like two totally different songs being played at the same time that just happened to have the same key. A serious failure on the part of her sound engineers. Although her exaggerated accent was probably her own error.
