A lot of people have been comparing this band to Northlane and Erra, but honestly, I don't see the resemblance. The instrumentation of this band is great, but the vocals are a lot like the band While She Sleeps in the sense that there is not much diversity within it. It's mostly the same tone of screaming throughout. The lyrics that I have seen so far also didn't live up to my expectations. Although, still much better than the majority of shitty lyrics being distributed throughout the music industry, I was expecting more. This band seems to have potential, but at the moment it's lacking that special tone that would separate them from other bands and make them stand out more.

even misha flip flopped and said its a genre (though he doesn't understand it). the only major djent guitarist still taking a stand against it last time i looked was john browne from monuments. and he may have stopped doing that by now too, my info on him is a bit dated

This isn't djent you dumbass, if anything it sounds more like metalcore, there are very few actual bands that utilize the technique enough to fall under that label.
