The song Gambler Gambler from Elf's first album.

Oops! The picture of the bloke on the drums was probabley taken on the Rainbow tour, and if so, he was probably never in Elf. Oh well... too lazy to change it.

I wish I had computers when I was a child. I'm looking up music I know I would have love then. The eazy way to find new music. This generation has got it made.

ELF un clasicazo, los inicios de Black Sabbath con Ronnie James Dio probablemente el mejor vocalista de la historia del Hard Rock.

Ronnie, very underrated by those who didn`t know him as we all do.

That IS Gary Driscoll on the first Rainbow album, "Ritchie Blackmore`s Rainbow". Basicially Elf w/ Blackmore on guitar; great album. Probably my favorite one! Used to have Elf`s "Carolina Ball" (is that right?) on vinal.

sure is man, i was impressed too when i first read that he played bass before his Rainbow era... i put my vote in for dio as the best rocker still performing today... look at the body of work he has done.. from the late 50's (ronnie and the red caps, lost prophets etc) through to the elves/elf/rainbow/black sabbath/ DIO/sabbath again , now of course with heaven and hell... absolutely untouchable

Certainly does sound a lot like the first Rainbow album... The drummer has a very distinctive style.
