What is so remarkable with this artist is that she is so incredibly musical...she hasn't the prettiest of voices, but it doesn't matter much, because she loves and understands the music as very few artists does. That makes her a legendary singer. And thats why her spectacular interpretaion beats most of the 'prettier-voiced' singers. She is a sort of Ebe Stignani, and only Shirley Verrett has sung this as impressive in modern times. :-)
