I bought this cassette in 12th grade. After seeing the video for "Get the Message," I just had to buy it.

I remember when Electronic hit the scene when I was 15 years old. Hearing this songs brings me back to that magical time and this magical music. Other great singles are "Dissapointed" and "Get The Message." Great Great music and a big part of my 15th year of life! This is what I was listening to back then and it's still what I am listening to now; although, this is the first time I heard this song in 10-15 years or so and boi did it bring back the old feelings of being 15 years old. :)

@flintsteel You commented that this song by Electronic "feel every beat" p*ssed all over any x-factor performance! So the real band I meant are Electronic and the corporate puppets are the X Factor contestants you were referencing in you original comment.

@katakisLives I'd forgotten I'd posted this comment. Who are "The Corporate Puppets" are they a new band? ;)

@flintsteel That's the difference between real artists and corporate puppets.

Just been reading Peter Hook's "How Not To Run A Club" book about the Hacienda, looking at the video and listening to the lyrics, and in particular taking into account the time this was released [1991 - at the height of the Haciendas violence] I think this could be about that [or at least partly]

Excellent tune, 1991! Johnny Marr can certainly play guitar, and Barney is some rapper!
