Song of the Day 14–001 Ejecta—Jeremiahthe back end of December was too chaotic to finish out my Song Of The Days for the year. this would've been included but instead kicks off the new year.Back in 2010 i caught Neon Indian at Virgin Free Fest. not knowing a thing about them i was captivated by the music and the leads in Alan Palomo and Leanne Macomber. while Alan's been the primary force of Neon Indian, Leanne's created a new group in Ejecta. to sell the material she basically has sold herself, in the biblical sense. all material related to the promotion and release features her au naturel.On only a few listens, i'd say at least half the album Dominae is great and promising. While Palomo is abstract and paints soundscapes, Macomber focuses more on crafting pop as evidenced in Jeremiah's structure.
