I Never get tired of this song. Classic!

Rubberbands, Solitude Standing, the first Sting album before he became such a tool, Floyd's Lapse, and some Robbie Robertson. Perfect late eighties mix tape.

Absolutley one of the greatest albums of my liftime. I was in my first year of high school when this came out and it had such an impact on my friends and I. Thanks for sharing!

There's something cosmic and timeless about this album...

One of the best albums to close out the 80`s.

Love this album, one of the top ten of all time...most people get the tears flowing when they hear "Circle", but I have always been deeply, strangely moved by "Wheel" to a strange mix of reactions, of which tears are only the surface. It has the tenor of a strange sort of trannscendent hope, mixed with/negating a subtle terror.

*... Keeps On Turning, and Tur-rrr-rrning*Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - The WheelMusic today from my favorite sister alumness; I've been a fan of Edie since I was a child. I was so happy to know I attended the same high school as her, and it always amused me to hear the French teacher's less-than-stellar opinion of her (which I always felt was snarkily replied to in *What I Am*).My brain is hitting a spot in an attempt at a depression cycle where boredom and 'what is the point?' is trying to sneak in. I shake my fist at it, 'cause yanno... I'm doing things, various things, and it's not called for, this trap it's trying to catch me in. For instance, I'm still working on crocheting the aforementioned hat; I had to roll it way back 'cause it was much too big//wide. It should be much closer to right now.My husband has added to the craftitude of today by busting out his sewing machine. It's a really old Singer, maybe from the late 30s, and it is beautiful. He's going to teach me how to sew now that my anxiety is better managed. And as it's a manual, there is a significantly lower risk of sewing my hands together (which I almost did when learning in Home Ec in 7th grade). My crafting life will be a lot nicer if I can get the hang of using the machine, so I'm very excited about that.I'm still sick; I'm not sure that's ever going to go away at this point. **laughs** There's mucus from everywhere, and my head has been doing weird things. I finally gave up and threw a co-codamol at it this evening, just to try and push it back enough for me to feel semi-human. That, and I'm very wary of migraines trying to sneak up and club me.Oh, I did pull up my Word doc, and I even wrote a few sentences! Maybe tomorrow I'll be feeling better enough to try to push out a bit more with the freedom of the house being mine. I know I won't get anything done Tuesday, because that is new computer day, and I will be busy making sweet love to my newfound 16 gigs of gaming ram. ((fap fap fap fap fap)). And, of course, being happy that it will be much easier to move my data from my retiring machine to the new one... yissssss.Hope everyone is having a good day, and that everyone is feeling a bit healthier than me.<3

Wow this took me back to junior high. I wonder if my life would have turned out the same way if I hadn't heard this song. Hmm
