+SinsofMen Dio was hardly the founder of powermetal. The New wave of british heavy metal was clearly influenced by the Judas Priest album "Sad wings of destiny". Bands like Saxon and Iron maiden lead the charge during the NWOBHM and the sound of real power metal was later Cultivated and refined by Helloween. Dio definitely Shared his part in the foreground of metal, but in terms of powermetal, I simply cant agree.
