Almost two years later now. I was less than impressed when I first heard this album. But it has grown on me a great deal since then, and now I really love it. I find that some of my favorite music needs many listens before I can appreciate all of the subtlety and thought that went into it. The new Avantasia release sounds awesome too, from the little samples I've heard from it so far.8 years ago

i really think that they started to be "edguy" from hellfire club till now, the edguy they wanted to be, and not just another ultra fast high tone power metal band, almost a copy of stratovarius, they have grown up, they are not 23 anymore, they make more mature music now, this is the real edguy, i cant understand why people can´t see it and still stuck in the past when they were just starting to know their style.Good stuff.9 years ago

Not that I have a problem with Edguy going in whatever direction they want, but I personally am happy that they're getting away from the Tinnitus Sanctus hard rock sound and going more metal again. Although I did think Age of the Joker was fairly decent.9 years ago

I feel like this song combines Nailed To The Wheel with later Avantasia albums... Not a bad thing, I just feel like the band "Edguy" doesn't sound as original as they did before Tinnitus Sanctus came out. Even to this day Edguy still remains as one of my favorite bands and one of my personal standouts in power metal, proving they're not another Helloween clone.9 years ago

Is it just me or does the production and mixing sound REALLY compressed? Like Death Magnetic compressed? I mean the crash cymbals and hi-hat are just covered in almost white noise. Same with Love Tyger. Don't get me wrong, I love this song and Love Tyger, just the production is really suspect.10 years ago
