I don't get it! in my opinmion this cannot ever be insperational? this is too insane to be called music? I really don't see what Frank liked about this crap! although some portions of his music was sorta similar? but I thought that wa crap as well. So, this is by no means ok at all, Varese when he "composed" this stuff must have been thinking about WW1 perhaps his family was cought up in it somhow? and had nightmares about it, so he trans posed his nightmarish thoughts to "music" and this is IT. I suppose some would call this "Avant Garde" but thats too good a title for this rubbish, it is not music in any form? it uses musical instruments, yes, but has no form or structure to tell a tale or something, but this does send "jarrings" to your nerve structure and this is what is intended, I think, simply to grate on your feelings and piss you off, so there.

damn!!! I am from mexico (Veracruz) I played this piece back in 2008 in Oaxaca. I have no idea how did I perform this music, or better say "organized noise". I remember the whole adventure of getting the sirens from the local junk yards in Oaxaca... but I do not remember how the sheet music looks like.

My Rottweilers howled - they went outside of their own volition. This is great. There is actually a very slow 4/4 pulse and I found it after a while. Strange but beautiful 'music' - I understand more of that idol of mine - Zappa. I can see how he would be immediately attracted to this. Whilst this music is not my choice I now understand somewhat more of the bridge that Zappa built across the river of his influences to our ignorance.
