Mitchell, SD.............many, many years ago. Eddie informed us all........take your pics NOW! If a single flash bulb goes off while HE was on stage and he would walk OFF. That was one of my early celebrity shows but HE is the only one who EVER came off as a prima dona. Johnny, Merle, Elvis, etc etc but nobody ever came across as BAD as this guy.

I have always loved this song. Your dad sings it the best. I do have this record and it has been played often throughout the years. This kind of classic cowboy music is the original country and western music. The newer country and western music is too depressing. The cowboys sang about the prairie, the range, nature and it was more enjoyable.

@sorrowfulflower Gogi Grant had the big hit with the song in 1956, Patsy Cline has a great version of it also, but I believe that Mr. Arnold has equaled all the others with this version. Thank you so much for checking it out and I am so glad you liked it! Jim
