Oakland Hills that burnt, we all lived up there, Montrose, Denny Carmassi drummer, Eddy, his band, the Grateful, Jefferson Starship, Santana, all got their gear from relative Leo of Leo's Music Berkeley back then hung out watched Journey pick out their shit the day after they split Santana, watched, many rock stars, trying out gear, it was THE ONLY place in the bay area that carried such things, the revolution, had not happened, Eddy and Me, talked, recently: How many friends, lost to Coke, dead, 80's, about the biz, about being "Vegased" now.. his family intact, his body good, i knew him as the kid you see on his first album, we used to hire his band for a couple hundred for frat parties on the UC Berkeley campus, Bill Graham, Day on the Green, things were alive, in 75. 9 years ago
