Another gem from Eddie Cochran! This is a rare demo version of his hit "Nervous Breakdown". Hope you enjoy! I made this video back in early 2008, and found it when I was going through my things, luckily this one was saved. See my storm video as well! Visit my blog at http://jamesvaughn.ebloggy.com

This must be the version he made for the niche audience of Beatniks on The Sunset Strip. He's in good voice, though.

it's called a 'recipe', there's nothing wrong with that, a 'recipe' is reflective of the studio-work, not the band, look Phil Spectors' "Wall of sound", that's a recipe, Brian Wilson's "Pet Sounds" is another example,... changing tempo or keys or chord progressions doesn't matter. In this era (50's), tubes and Large-band Microphones are new the recording studios, I feel that's one of the secrets of these recordings, that makes them sounding so fresh, and still new 'sounding' today.

Yep, apart from being in a different key, having a different tempo, different melody and different chord progression, it's exactly the same.
