Here's Eddie Cochran performing "Milk Cow Blues" 1960, shortly before his fatal car crash. This version of "Milk Cow Blues" was way ahead of it's time. Pictures taken from the Internet, and the audio track was cleaned before making the video. Long live the memory of Eddie Cochran. I hope you enjoy.

I think there are 7 or 8 real pivotal artists in the development of Rock and Roll and I think Eddie is, by far, the most underrated of them all; uber talented boy.

If I'm not mistaken, this recording is taken from a BBC edition of Saturday Club, presented by Brian Matthew, which included an interview with Eddie in which he talked about his forthcoming tour with Gene Vincent. It's a genuine piece of rock 'n' roll history.

There was something said that Eddie wanted to release an instrumental blues album but LIberty Records wouldn't let him. Damn, just think... that woulda been great!! He was such a bluesman!

Eddie plays like a modern blues man......would have been a riot if he lived long enough to team up with Albert King or Eric Clapton.

Great! Thank you, man. I will let you know when they site goes live and your experience is published. Also, if you happen to know someone who saw him live and want to share the experience with the rest of us, s/he will be more than welcome. I will be glad to gather as much feedback as I can. Thanks again.

Sure. I have no problem with that. It certainly was a fantastic experience for this 18 year old steeped in fifties music. The advent of rock n roll was so exciting, and quite different from the later so called rock n roll. Really sorry for the kids of today.

Thanks so much for sharing that with us. It's so great to hear from people who actually saw him playing life! I am planning to gather testimonies from people like you who want to share that memories with fans like me. I hope to publish them in their own section of the Eddie Cochran site I'm building. So, if you don't mind, I would like to have yours included too. If you are ok with that, of course.
