There comes a time when there's just not anything new, or any higher praises to give to these guys. This song just always takes me back to a time when life just could not be any sweeter. And it was all because of the music of that era, and the way it made us feel sooooooo connected.

This cut is vintage Maurice White & EWF in their prime with fresh horn section and all. The "I AM" album is my favorite album from the exhaustive volume of great EWF masterpieces. This LP album was cut during my sophomore college year - Summer 1979...loaded with great hits: Wait, In the Stone, Boogie Wonderland, Can't Let Go, and my favorite, the timeless "After the Love is Gone." Thanks so much for sharing this classic, unsung gem...another EWF vinyl masterpiece
