Saw them in Los Angeles, CA in 1988. Maurice White was in rare form that night. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. I wanted to marry Maurice White ...lol. I will forever have a crush on him. The energy in that place was truly unbelievable.

THE REASON I HAVE ALL CAPS ON IS BECAUSE OF THIS: THEY WERE THE BADDEST BAND EVER! EVER! I wished could have seen them in their prime, when Maurice & all of the original members were there!

I loved the added dimension in which Roland Bautista brought to the band. Funky R&B chords in one set. Then he could set the stage on fire with some of his sizzling' rock licks. No disrespect to Al, but Roland could bring it. RIP. You are certainly missed.
