I saw the Imperials in Casper Wy in the early 1980s.Years later having moved to another part of the country. my oldest son returned to the state to attended the University of Wyoming. Just before school started we had the chance to spend a day watching a pair of nesting eagles teach their young to fly. This song was all I could think of as I watched the young eagles learn to soar on the wind.

I listen to this beautiful song every morning. Oh, my... what an oasis in the desert that life can sometimes be.

I remember these guys coming to Asbury College back in the early eighties. They absolutely rocked the house, our great Hughes Auditorium ...o blessed place! The Imperials, Omartian, and the Holy Spirit...what a combo! I'll never forget that night when Taff sang this song he had written...a real champ for Jesus!

The first time I heard this beautiful song, I cried. I am a Native woman, and in this this song I sensed a beautiful meshing of Native Life Ways with the beauty of Christianity. Oh, Russ Taff, what a beautiful brother you are.

Circa 1983, me and a friend started a two piece acoustic thing, where we went to a secular college's student union building to put on a one hour concert! Imagine how nervous we were... This was our last song. After we were done, about 6 folks came up and were astounded at the show. But in my estimate, it wasn't the show, rather it was the Holy Spirit quickening them. We just happened to be there more than ready to talk with them. Of course it never hurts to pick a wonderful song like this one...

This song reminds me of my childhood! My father owned a Christian bookstore and would hold concerts at local high schools. The Imperials were one of those bands! Always after the concert, we would all go out to dinner! What incredible memories my mom and dad, plus The Imperials gave me! Thank you!

Armond, Jim, Dave, and Russ were born to sing this song. A great project by a great team, which included Michael Omartian at the helm.

I really love this song because it reminds me of what we'll be doing in 1 Thessalonians4,16-18.
