X "creatorofdragon": some seconds of "robotic voice" at the beginning of the song or a more or less technical approach, make a band a "Cynic clone"? So there's a world full of "Cynic clone" in the last 20 years or so (but even before Cynic's debut album...very strange...hahahahahah)!? This band is very much more near to classic death metal than Cynic, or at least to the style of such as Death, Pestilence, Morbid Angel and others, even if you consider only "Focus" for Cynic. Also listen the whole album ("The Audient Void", 2011), or better yet the previous demo too, "Mind...Will...Action" (2003)...but clean up yours ears very well before listening! Hahahahah...
