This song being sung here by "Dusty Springfield" was written by "Carole King & Gerry Goffin" and this song is just one of many great songs that "Dusty" sang and i like them all. I believe this one was released in 1965.She was one of the greatest white soul singers of all time.

i sure do agree with you, i am a massive fan of Carole King but Dusty sings this one much better in my opinion, it's a great song, thanks for your comment... Carl

I love this tune. Dusty's version is so smooth and suave, Even though Carole King wrote it and sing it , i think her version more harsher then Dusty. But 2 great versions anyway.

Hey Carole King has got to be one of my favourite female singers of all time, but yeah i am also a big fan of Dusty and i reckon a lot of people are missing her, thanks very much for stopping by.. Carl

You should hear Carole's own version-I actually like Carole's version better-it's edgier. But God,I miss Dusty so much.

It so bums me out that virtually no singers today took any 'lessons' from Dusty. Her restraint, her smoldering sexuality. There is literally no one like her today. And that's a sad commentary my friend.

it just goes like that sometimes, some songs and singers from both our countries don't always get lots of TV coverage or air play and they just sort of slip through the net un-noticed as they say,but i thought Dusty and all her songs were very big over in the U.S, but she sure was a massive star over here, and so were all her songs in England, thanks for coming back again. man, it's so obscure (at least in The States), if I hadn't watched a Dusty bio on Bravo 10 years ago, I STILL wouldn't know it existed.

Does anyone know how this wasn't a huge US hit? Was Dusty out of favor by this time? Not clicking with the acid rockers? It's one of her best.
