Great song, really reminds me of being 16. This is from the first EP (the "Ride" EP), 'Smile' was a compilation of the first 2 EPs rather than an album proper.

The Stone Roses were awesome. Seriously, their Blackpool ballroom gig was one of the best nights of my life. But to this day, I still can't understand why The Roses debut album tops so many charts but Rides is ignored. Their first EPs and debut album was miles ahead of their contemporaries, and deserved far greater acclaim.

I've not heard this since it came out. Still a fucking top notch tune and still stands well today. Can you lads point me to the best live version on here. Cheers.
