I don't know why Ms. Rambo has been on my mind today. I met her briefly in the early '80s when I was the pianist for the house band of TBN. Dottie was a guest one evening and she witnessed Rev. Steve Brock snapping his fingers and talking down to me like I was filth because I sat in a row of folding chairs reserved for "stars." He dressed me down, made me move and stormed away. Dottie grabbed my hand and pulled me into the chair next to hers. She told me to "pay him no mind, we're all stars in God's heaven. You sit here by me and you stay put."

Amen - this song strongly ministered to me in the early 80s and still does today. It reminds me of Psalm 23 and John chapter 10 - The Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua Meshiak) is truly our good Shepherd!

Did anybody notice that Dottie, in this song prophesied how she would leave this earth - sleeping. It was said that she was sleeping in the bus when it ran off the road. She also mentions in this song (Sheltered in the arms of God) "let the cold wind blow...". It was reported that scattered but powerful winds were in the area when and where her bus crashed the side of the highway and was probably the cause of the crash.God grants us our requests.

This woman is a true inspiration. I am in awe of her. I have prophetic dreams. About 17 years ago Jesus appeared to me in a dream and admonished me to give Him the Glory. About a year ago a beautiful woman appeared to me in a dream and announced herself with these words: "I have never been with tribulation". I was quite excited because with an introduction like that I assumed that this was God the Holy Spirit about to bless me. I woke up excited that God was about to bless me. I began singing. I don't know why I begun singing but I just did. I hadn't sung or played my guitar since around the time my first wife dumped me back in the mid1970's. My wife made the comment that her first husband complained and griped all the time and I sing.So in January of 2014 I bought a new guitar and began singing and playing gospel songs. I only want to sing about Jesus. When the Creator of the universe makes a personal appearance to you, I told my wife, I can't do anything else, I don't want to do anything other than glorify Him. So when I discovered Dottie Rambo on Youtube singing "I Call Him Lord" my jaw hit the floor. This was the woman who appeared to me in my dream. Was it God (?)appearing like Dottie with the long hair, young, exactly like she looked and dressed in that video (I Call Him Lord) and so beautiful? Or.... is this Dottie in her perfect youth again came to encourage me to begin singing? Nothing was said about singing just the introduction ("I have never been with tribulation").Myself, I think this was the Holy Spirit who was giving me a clue and confirmation that when I stumble upon Dottie on Youtube ..... this is what Jesus, Yeshua, wants from you. Dottie is a blessing to me. Thank you Dottie. I thank God for the incredible life that Dottie lived. She is a blessing to so many of us and was an example worth emulating. Now, I have even begun writing some songs. I just wanted to share this. This is the first time I've ever posted on Youtube so/and I hope I didn't say too much.ThanksS. David Bays
