ky: Cool to hear. It is wierd because when I think about my understanding of 1989 it is so liimited but since I was the same age as his grandson via Jeremy I can't imagine my parents OKing my watching MTV at that point in life let alone I can't imagine even being interested in it that young.

Anne, I feel that way about music that was out when I was a little girl. Since Donny is only a couple of years older than me, I grew up on Donny and The Osmonds (not so much on Marie Osmond though).

See that is funny is I am finally old enough to remember this year and I have absolutely no memories of him in the 1980s. I think I was too young to really get "music" so I have no clue about his early years.
