I love all types of music, and so glad I never shut out the best of disco just because it rubbed some wrong This was the swan song of disco (before it was relabeled dance music), on the eve of the end of a big happy Carter-era party before worship of wealth took over. Giorgio and Donna were a pair made in heaven that brought R&B and techno-tronic electro pop together alongside Kraftwerk. A joyful time that lives on within. Daft Punk have made admirable strides to keep some of the beat and the happiness alive.
