Donavon Frankenreiter hails from San Clemente, California, where he was lucky enough to get to learn how to surf as a teenager. Later picking up a sponsorship from Billabong, Frankenreiter was able to tour and surf some of the best locations, including Hawaii, where the singer/songwriter would book hotel accommodations from the parents of acclaimed singer/songwriter/surfer Jack Johnson. Later in his music career, Frankenreiter would meet up with Johnson for a number of collaborations...
