After many months of searching and asking I finally finished constructing my personal vocal isolation booth in my home. The main reason for this is soundproofing cause I'm on a really noisy environment and I don't want to be heard when I sing. Also I wanted to limit the external noises as much as possible when I'm recording my vocals. As you will see I made the door shorter on width to reduce it's weight.
I made a video showing you what I did. I hope it helps you too.
Feel free to ask me anything you want. ;)
Dimensions:
-2 meters height
-0.92cm width
Materials:
-Melamine with 1.6cm thickness of "Novopan" wood from the inside
-Copopren Acoustic (Soundproofing material with 4cm thickness)
-Superglue and strong double sided tape
-A thick carpet for the floor
-2 handles for the door (one for outside and one for inside)
-Iron corners for shelf and a plexiglass shelf
-4 slices of led lights
Total cost: Approximately 250euro.
Video shot with my Canon EOS 500D.
