I have started listening to dischord a bit late because I am not 50 years. Not meaning to add to any offense or ignorant mockery, but tapes are no longer that easy to find and too bad they are no longer five dollars.

There is a DC hardcore band called Youth Brigade also. Not nearly as good as the LA band...

I love how a lot, of Dischords classic albums are still in print. Its so great. Its not hard to find any of the good classic albums and singles that they've put out. Maybe Sub Pop should start doing something in this nature. a lot of the great albums that were put out by Sub Pop in their late 80's early 90's heyday aren't always in print....

What does it say about you GretnaBlast, that you bothered to post this reply? Certainly not that you are a thoughtful, considerate person...

There were two Youth Brigade bands... the better-known, longer-lasting one was in California, BYO (Better Youth Organization), but there was also a Youth Brigade in D.C. Pre-Internet, they didn't know about each other!

Thanks so much for putting this together and posting it! It's only 4:15 long, but I'm sure it took many hours of work to make it this good!

No there was a 4 band compilation with a different Youth Brigade. They were on Discord. I have seen the record as I my best bud owns it. In fact the girl on this video holds it in her hands for a few seconds. Learn your history.

I believe circle jerks also wrote a song called moral majority if I'm not mistaken... and it's about the same thing as the DK and YB song. After all, The Moral Majority in the early 80s was a group of assholes that wanted everyone to be forced to live by their bullshit rules... just like "the tea party" of today. Also, the youth brigade this guy is referring to is not those douche bag triplets from Hollywood CA. They have never been associated in any way with BYO records.

@straightedge442 I know who the fuck the Moral Majority was, that wasn't the question. THREE YEARS AGO I was confused about which Youth Brigade and which song titled "Moral Majority" is mentioned in this video.

@GretnaBlast The Moral Majority is one of the most appalling groups of people to ever exist. Research them. Phyllis Schlafly?
