J-pop / J-rock today sucks,the older J-pop / J-rock (ie: 90's, 80's, etc) are much more sweeter, melodic, warm, & full of depth/deep heartfelt & 'soul' somehow than today's "cookie-cutter", "mass-manufactured" , "commercial/profits/business-based" monotone j-pop / j-rock today.trust me, I'm a musician/composer/songwriter, I know all about it, musically-speaking.
