Love Dion - but evidently he went back to the Idols. The Churches are replete with them. He had left the Church for a while most likely because of the hypocrisy he saw - Idols being one of them. But, I understand that he has gone back.

Dion had an amazing run of great Gospel tunes he made in the early 1980's. I collected all these albums. Very nice and good gospel messages. Then he stopped suddenly singing only for the Lord, and his ministry seemed to stop at the same time, also. Then I heard him say in interviews that he returned to the catholic church, on account that he woke up(after being saved?) and realized that Rome is the one true church. Hey, Dion, why can't you continue your ministry, the Pope won't approve? Weird.

Don't usually listen to "gospel" music but this absolutely amazing. I've been a fan of Dion for a while now but I've always listened to the rock and roll songs. This is truly an inspirational song. The lyrics are so true. If only people nowadays would listen to this I think the world would improve. Sure it's cool to have nice things. We all want that. But when it matters most, none of the things we own will matter. The only thing that will matter is our love for God.

Yeah this great man played music that touch the carnal minded people & he did a back flip & was spirit filled & played music that has helped people renew there mind & focus on jesus.His music has substance.Words are powerful & the gospel music he sings helped smash the strong holds that where in my life..Kids dont know what music is today & not just that, the words that the songs they listen to are not helping them.If only they heard this music it would soften there hearts & set them free.

He's an amazing artist. The critics wrote him off as just another "teen heart-throb" but this was from his 22nd studio album. He won a Dove award and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Gospel Performance. And he has never slowed down! he released his last album just this year ("Tank Full of Blues") at 72 years old, and has put out 7 albums just since the year 2000! So much for the teen heart-throb label!
