Dindi ist der Kosename der brasilianischen Sängerin Sylvia Telles, in die der Komponist Antonio Carlos Jobim wohl zeitweise arg verschossen gewesen sein muss. Die Ironie ist, dass die Telles diesen Song übrigens auch in ihren eigenen Konzerten sang. Gal Costa und Tom Jobim singen hier ein Duett dieses Songs, in dem man es förmlich knistern hört, so gut harmonisieren die beiden.Gorgeous and sentimental. It's about a big, lost love. Dindi is the nickname of brazilian singer Sylvia Telles, with whom composer Antonio Carlos Jobim must have been nuts about at a time. By the way it's quite ironic that Sylvia Telles actually sang that song in her own concerts.
