It cant sound worse than the re-recorded because re-recorded version is nowadays digital hi-end recording. This one is original old real norwegian black metal sounding and the performing here is more epic. Same shit Varg did with his compilation of re-recorded old tracks, sounds like complete different thing.... (not bad thou) but lacks of this vintage feeling.
